Data Deletion Policy – mypreffy
Users can delete their account directly from within the mypreffy app.
The delete account function can be found at:
mypreffy → Settings → Login & Security → Account status → Delete your account
When a user chooses to delete their account, all personal data associated with that account is permanently deleted.
This includes, but is not limited to:
User profile information
Authentication data
Preferences and settings
All content created by the user, including posts, reviews, images, and related metadata
Account deletion is an irreversible action.
Deletion of user-generated content
All posts and content created by the user are deleted at the same time as the user account. mypreffy does not retain anonymized or archived versions of deleted user content.
Deletion of locations
Locations in mypreffy are user-generated and depend on active content.
If a deleted user was the only contributor to a specific location, and no other posts remain associated with that location, the location will also be automatically deleted from the platform.
Timing
Data deletion is performed immediately upon the user’s confirmation of account deletion.
